The government closely focuses on the progress of ICT in the country and has developed several strategies and policies that could be utilized by entrepreneurs and business owners to determine the growth of their business.

The responsibility of carrying out a study for a National ICT Roadmap to identify the development of distinctive ICT abilities for Malaysia has been given to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

The Government is also aware of the importance of assisting entrepreneurs to build their capacity to become competitive global players. The recognition has been translated into action items as stated in the Ninth Malaysian Plan.
