The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) is a compulsory programme that provides retirement benefits for employees through management of their savings in an efficient and reliable manner. EPF is governed under the Employees Provident Fund Act .

Currently, employees contribute 11% of their monthly income while the employer contributes 12% of the income.
