Pregnancy is a very special time in a person's life. Educating yourself on good health care and knowing your options, in providing yourself with the best possible care are essential to a healthy pregnancy.

    Miscarriage is the loss of the foetus before 20 weeks of pregnancy. A still birth is the loss of a foetus after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Most miscarriages occur in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy and are usually due to foetal abnormalities.

    Recurring pregnancy loss can be a heartbreaking experience for couples.  Muslims are advised to refer directly to Muslim scholars before terminating a pregnancy so that it would be in line with Islamic prinicples.
