Customs and Immigration
The Government of Malaysia relies on multiple agencies to govern and oversee its interaction with foreign parties. Government agencies such as the Royal Malaysian Customs is responsible for matters pertaining to taxes and duties; while the Immigration Department is responsible for the issuance of visas, visit passes and passports.
Apart from Malaysian Government agencies, foreign missions in Malaysia provide assistance to their respective citizens in all travel-related matters.
