For air travel within Malaysia or the Asean region, travellers can opt for either a full-service airline or no-frills budget airline service.  Full-service airlines are based at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) while budget airlines operate from the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) and other smaller airports.
