1) Must be a legally registered foreign halal certification body.

2) Have a registered JAKIM MyIHAB System account.

3) Have organisation registration documents and an organisation profile.

4) Have a recognition or support letter from the relevant authorities.

5) Have qualified halal auditors and Shariah committee members.

6) Provide qualification certificates for halal auditors and Shariah committee members.

7) Have Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for halal certification and monitoring.

8) Provide relevant organisational recognition or accreditation documents.

9) Have an organisation logo and a sample halal certificate.

10) Be prepared to undergo JAKIM's recognition assessment and audit process.
