The MyTax portal is an official digital platform developed by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) to facilitate tax affairs for Malaysians.
This portal brings together various online tax services under a single portal to improve access, transparency, and efficiency of the country's tax system.
Among the main functions:
- e-Filing

Malaysia Short-Term Employment Programme (MySTEP)
The Malaysia Short-Term Employment Programme (MySTEP) is a government initiative that offers short-term (contract) employment opportunities across various ministries, government agencies, Government-Linked Companies (GLCs), Government-Linked Investment Companies (GLICs), and strategic industry partners. Its aim is to enhance employability and accelerate job placement for Malaysians.
Key Features
- Duration: Minimum of 1 month, up to a maximum of 12 months
- Eligibility: Open to Malaysian citizens aged 18 years and above, with various qualifications such as SPM, Diploma, STPM, or Degree
- Contract & Salary: Based on the offered placement, with a minimum salary of RM1,700
The MADANI Medical Scheme is an initiative by the Government of Malaysia through the Ministry of Health (MOH) to support the healthcare needs of the B40 group by providing treatment for minor illnesses.

Eligibility for MADANI Medical Scheme
- STR (Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah) recipients: households, senior citizens (without partner), and singles

Treatment covered under the scheme:
- Fever and flu
- Diarrhea and vomiting
- Sprains
- Headaches
- Minor trauma such as small wounds, etc.
Benefits amount:
- Household: RM250
- Senior citizen without partner: RM125
- Single: RM75
e-LATiH is an e-learning portal specially developed by HRD Corp.
Through e-LATiH, employees can access a wide range of online courses, including:
- Project management
- Communication
- Digital skills
- Personal development
These courses are provided by HRD Corp partners and are industry-recognised.
Some courses are free, while others are paid, and participants can learn at their own pace and time.
TABIKA KEMAS is managed by the Community Development Department (KEMAS) under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW).
To provide quality early childhood education for children aged 4–6 years, especially in rural, remote and B40 communities.

- National Preschool Standard Curriculum (KSPK) by MOE
- Focuses on rural and low-income communities to ensure access for all children
Admission Requirements:
- Malaysian citizen
- Aged 4–6 years in the application year
- Priority given to B40 and rural children
How to Apply
- Submit completed registration forms with supporting documents directly to the nearest TABIKA KEMAS
- The TABIKA Selection Committee will issue an Accept/ Reject response letter to the parents/guardians of the children involved.
- TABIKA Selection Committee issues Acceptance/Rejection letters by the 4th week of November

Licenses that have expired for more than 3 years are invalid, inoperative and non-renewable (except for LDL). License holders will have to repeat the entire process of applying for a driving license from the beginning.
PDL licenses are non-renewable after holding the license for a 2-year maturity period. Holders must convert to a CDL license within 1 year.

Digital License:
After applying/renewing LDL/PDL/CDL, drivers can use the digital version via the MyJPJ app.
Here is the general process to obtain a motorcycle or motorcar license (Class B2/B or D/DA):
1. Register with an Accredited Driving Institute
- Choose a driving institute registered with JPJ.
- Attend the theoretical course under the Driving Education Curriculum (KPP01).
2. Sit and pass the Road Traffic Law Test Part 1
3. Receive a Learner’s Driving License (LDL)
- Issued after passing the theoretical test (Part 1).
- Valid for practical driving training.
4. Undergo practical driving training on circuit and public roads
- Circuit training (6 hours) and road training (10 hours) according to JPJ’s curriculum.
- Must complete the minimum training hours required.
5. Sit for the Driving Test
- Conducted by JPJ examiners.
- Divided into two parts:
- Circuit test
- Road test
6. Receive a Probationary Driving License (PDL)
- Issued after passing the Practical Test Parts 2 & 3.
- Valid for 2 years.
- Will be revoked if KEJARA demerit points exceed 20.

7. Receive a Competent Driving License (CDL)
- After holding a PDL for 2 years, the holder must convert it to CDL within 1 year.
- The license will be revoked if suspended 3 times under the demerit system within 5 years.
