Malaysian Homestay Experience Program (PPHM) is a Community-Based Tourism (CBT) initiative led by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia.
This programme allows tourists to experience the authentic lifestyle and warm hospitality of rural communities firsthand.
In addition to accommodation, tourists may also enjoy the following experiences:
- Staying with a host family
- Participating in daily community activities
- Appreciating the uniqueness of local culture, traditional cuisine, and the lifestyle of local residents
The programme serves as a bridge connecting tourists with the rich cultural heritage and traditions that reflect the uniqueness of Malaysia.
