What is E-Customer
e-Customer is one of the digital initiatives introduced by various Malaysian government agencies to facilitate online communication between citizens and agencies.
e-Customer allows the public to:
- Query or obtain information directly
- Make an appointment with an agency officer or representative
- Get service assistance without having to physically attend the agency office
Most e-Customer services are offered in the form of:
- MyGCC or the Malaysian Government Call Center
- Online Customer Meeting Day
- Live chat or chat bot
This initiative is in line with the Malaysian government's commitment to strengthen service delivery based on the principles of being people-friendly, fast, easy and transparent, as outlined in the public sector digital transformation plan.
