The Job Coach program was developed to encourage and support PWDs in the open job market. It is introduced by JKM to empower PWDs economically and socially through structured job placement.
Eligible: All categories of OKUs
Who is a Job Coach?
- An individual experienced in supporting OKUs
- Has attended basic Job Coach training
- Acts as a liaison between OKUs and employers
Roles of Job Coach:
- Assess OKUs
- Assess workplace conditions
- Job matching
- Provide support and follow-up
Where to access Job Coach services:
- District Social Welfare Offices
- PLPP Bangi (Industrial Training and Rehabilitation Centre)
- Community-Based Rehabilitation Centres (PPDK)
