The Rakan Muda Programme is one of the key initiatives under the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), first introduced in 1994. It aims to serve as a holistic youth development platform, focusing on the interests, potential, and lifestyle of Malaysian youth.
In 2023, the Rakan Muda Programme was refreshed with a new approach called Rakan Muda 2.0, in line with current developments, digitalisation, and the needs of Generation Z and Alpha.
Under the Rakan Muda programme, there are various workshops, tournaments, funds and special programmes tailored to youth according to their interests and inclinations.
