Individuals who wish to join RELA as volunteer members must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Be a Malaysian citizen.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Not be a member of the Malaysian Armed Forces.
• Not be a member of any other registered volunteer force or volunteer scheme.

Applications are subject to the screening and approval process established by the Malaysia Volunteer Corps Department (RELA).

Once registered as a RELA member, you can access a wide range of digital services through the MyRELA 2.0 platform.

Services Available on MyRELA 2.0

• Apply for training programmes and courses.
• Manage duty assignments and allowance claims.
• Submit nominations for medals and awards.
• Update your personal information and membership records.
• Access a range of other RELA membership-related services.

The MyRELA platform is also available as a mobile application.
