What is Industrial Training?

Industrial training refers to the placement of students in an organization to undertake supervised practical training in a chosen industry. It is a form of exposure to the real world of work for students before they are awarded a Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.

Duration of training: Varies by institution/program, usually between 3 - 6 months

Place of training: Government sector, private sector, statutory body, NGO or company related to the student's field of study
