The National Coat of Arms is the official emblem of the Malaysian government which was approved by the Malay Rulers and gazetted on 27 May 1952. The National Coat of Arms which is in force until now is through Government Gazette P.U (B) 563: Statutes of the National Emblem of Malaysia dated 20 September 1990.
