The Skills Development Fund Corporation (PTPK) is an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR) established to provide loan facilities for students pursuing skills training at both public and private training institutions.
There are two categories of borrowers, namely:
- School Leavers
- Repayment begins 6 months after completion of studies
- Administrative charge of 3% per annum, calculated on a reducing balance basis
- Maximum repayment period: 120 months, depending on the loan amount
- Employees undergoing retraining/upskilling (reskilling/upskilling)
- Repayment begins the following month after completion of studies
- Administrative charge of 1% per annum, calculated on a reducing balance basis
- Maximum repayment period: 60 months, depending on the loan amount
