Private Higher Education Institutions (IPTS) consist of universities, university colleges, private colleges and branch campuses of foreign universities established in Malaysia with the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE).
Unlike Public Universities (IPTA), the admission process for IPTS does not go through UPUOnline but is managed directly by the respective institutions.
