The PERMATA Negara Programme was introduced in 2007 to provide quality care and education for children aged 0 to 4 years. It focuses on the care, education and holistic development of children in childcare centres.
The programme is implemented through the Pusat Anak PERMATA Negara (PAPN), which has been established nationwide. PAPN provides a conducive environment with facilities suited for early childhood development.
Admission Requirements:
- Malaysian citizen
- Aged 4 years and below
- Priority for parents with household income of RM4,000 and below
- The applied PAPN must be within 10 km from applicant’s home or workplace
