In Malaysia, Persons with Disabilities (or in Malaysia, better termed as OKUs) are defined under the Persons with Disabilities Act 2008 (Act 685) as individuals who have long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments which may prevent them from full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others.
