Malaysia practices a Parliamentary Democracy system under the administration of a Constitutional Monarchy with His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong as Head of State. 

The Parliamentary Democracy Government System divides the power of governance into three parts:

• Executive Power
• Judicial Power
• Legislative Power

This division of power is implemented at the Federal Government and State Government levels.
