If you are interested in a career as an Education Service Officer (Teacher), you can apply for the Bachelor of Education (PISMP) in relevant fields under the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE).
Introduction to PISMP
- A 5-year pathway comprising:
- 1 year (3 semesters) of the Preparatory Programme (PPISMP)
- 4 years (12 semesters) of the Bachelor of Education (PISMP)
- Students who pass PPISMP are automatically absorbed into PISMP.
- Upon graduation, students are appointed as Education Service Officers, grade DG41.
General admission requirements
- Malaysian citizen
- Not more than 20 years old as of 30 June in the application year
- SPM with at least 5 credits, including:
- Bahasa Melayu – grade A
- Sejarah – pass
- Relevant subjects for the applied field – excellent
- Pass the Teacher Candidate Eligibility Test (UKCG) and interview
