Form Six studies in Malaysia are one of the pathways after SPM. It prepares students for the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM), a pre-university qualification recognised domestically and internationally.
Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM)
- Equivalent to A-Level
- Recognised by Cambridge Assessment International Education, United Kingdom
- Equivalent to a diploma
- Accepted by the Public Service Department (JPA) for appointments in the public service
SPM leavers who meet the general and specific entry requirements are automatically offered Form Six..
General requirements:
- Pass SPM with at least a credit in Bahasa Melayu
- Aged between 17 and 20 on 1 January of the current year

- Regular national secondary schools
- National-type secondary schools
- Form Six Centres (Form Six Colleges)
- Certain special schools such as selected Government-Aided Religious Schools (SABK)
