There are two methods to apply for Social Welfare Department (JKM) assistance:

• Manual application

Application for financial assistance at District/ Colonial/ Divisional/ Branch Social Welfare Offices nationwide

• Online Application 

Each application registered will be means-tested to confirm eligibility for assistance.

Applicants are requested to bring supporting documents when attending the District/Colonial/Division/Branch Social Welfare Office.:

• Copy of the applicant's identity card
• Copy of the identity card of the husband/wife/mother/father/child living together
• Copy of birth certificates of children/family members living together
• Copy of salary statement (if any) and other relevant documents
