NACCOL or the National Cost of Living Action Council was established under the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) as the main national platform to coordinate policies, initiatives and integrated actions in addressing the issue of the cost of living for the people.
Main responsibilities of NACCOL:
- Develop policies, strategies, and action plans to address rising cost of living issues
- Identify comprehensive issues, problems, and challenges related to the increasing cost of living faced by the people
- Coordinate the implementation of policies and programs from various ministries and agencies to address the rising cost of living
- Monitor and ensure the effective implementation of each cluster’s efforts in addressing the cost of living issues
