Getting Basic Assistance
Elderly Assistance (BWE)

The Elderly Assistance (BWE) is financial aid provided by JKM to senior citizens in need.

Eligibility:

Malaysian citizens residing in Malaysia
60 years old and above
Household income not exceeding the current Hardcore Poor Household Poverty Line (PGK) average, or Hardcore Poor Per Capita PGK average
Elderly without children (living alone) may be considered if staying with family/guardian whose income exceeds PGK
Not living in JKM-run institutions or daily/residential care centers (receiving government grants/free services)

Rate: RM600/month
