PersonaParents to Young Children (7-12 Years Old)

To enter primary schools in Malaysia, parents need to apply for Standard 1 through the MOE system. As parents, you need to ensure that applications are made within the specified period and be prepared with the necessary documents.

The application process can be done online through the Ministry of Education Malaysia Integrated Module (MOEIS).

Eligibility Conditions

• Children must be Malaysian citizens
• Date of Birth: Make sure the child was born in the qualifying year of the school session you wish to register
• Registration opening and closing dates: take note of the registration opening and closing dates on the MOE portal

Supporting Documents

• Child's birth certificate
• Parent or guardian's MyKad
• Proof of residential address such as a recent utility bill
• Relevant documents such as custody certificate

Supporting documents must be uploaded during the online application process.

Placement Review and Appeal

Placement reviews and change appeals can be made online within the specified period.
