The PERMATA Pintar Programme is an initiative established to identify and develop the potential of gifted and talented students in Malaysia.
Operating Location: National PERMATA Pintar Centre, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)
Student Selection Process:
Interested students must go through several screening stages:
- UKM1 Test
Open to all Malaysian students aged 9 to 15
- UKM2 Test
Students who pass UKM1 are invited to sit for this test at designated centres
- School Holiday Enrichment Programme (PPCS)
Students who succeed in UKM2 will join this programme, where they will be assessed through the UKM3 test
- Admission to Kolej PERMATA Pintar
Students who pass UKM3 and perform well during PPCS will be offered a place at Kolej PERMATA Pintar to continue their secondary education
