PersonaParents to Young Children (7-12 Years Old)

The PERMATA Seni Programme was established to identify and guide schoolchildren with talents in arts in Malaysia.

Main Components of PERMATA Seni:

1. PERMATA Seni Choir
2. • For children aged 7 to 10 years with vocal talent.
   • Training includes vocal techniques, harmony and choir performance.
2. PERMATA Seni Dance
3. • For children aged 7 to 10 years with exceptional talent in traditional and contemporary dance.
   • Emphasis on dance techniques, expression and stage performance.
3. PERMATA Seni Music
4. • For children aged 7 to 17 years with musical talent.
   • Training in playing string instruments such as viola, cello, and double bass.
   • Must have the ability to read musical notes and pass an audition.

The PERMATA Seni Programme is supervised by the Department of National Culture and Arts (JKKN). Interested students must go through an audition process.
