A Head of Household (Ketua Isi Rumah - KIR) is an individual within a household who is responsible for the other household members residing at the same address. Who is Eligible? Applicants must: Have a household income below the current Poverty Line Income (PLI) threshold Be a Malaysian citizen serving as the Head of Household (KIR) If you or your family meet the eligibility requirements, you may register through either of the following methods: Visit the ICU JPM State Office or the District Office for registration. OR Register through: Local Community Leaders Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK) Residents’ Representative Council (MPP) Registration Status Check You can check the status of your eKasih registration approval online: What kind of aid can be received and when do I receive the aid? NACCOL or the National Cost of Living Action Council was established under the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) as the main national platform to coordinate policies, initiatives and integrated actions in addressing the issue of the cost of living for the people. This portal contains initiatives and assistance across various ministries, state governments, departments and agencies. There are two methods to apply for Social Welfare Department (JKM) assistance: Manual application Application for financial assistance at District/ Colonial/ Divisional/ Branch Social Welfare Offices nationwide Online Application Each application registered will be means-tested to confirm eligibility for assistance.
